This Design Department Coordinator will coordinate and support multiple projects for the design department and the sales department for an outstanding company in Bakersfield. This Coordinator will assist with the scheduling of project dates and meetings, track project activities, complete requests for proposals, assist with contracts, create bid evaluation sheets, review bids, manage public bid openings, request for information, track project documents and update departments of project status etc.
This is a long term, temp to hire position, hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Must have previous experience in construction and/or contract coordination
General construction knowledge with an in Public Works a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Minimum 3 years in a customer service relatable field
